Meet Trevis Belle - St. Kitts and Nevis one of the 2016 Queen’s Young Leaders

“From the streets of McKnight to the Buckingham Palace!” the single line that depicts the journey of Trevis Belle. Trevis was adamant in changing the mindset and shaping a positive view on his little community of McKnight.

19 year old Trevis, is a proud son of the McKnight soil, as he started his own non-profit organization, ‘Making A Difference Everywhere’ MADE St. Kitts’ which focuses on raising awareness about the importance of volunteerism amongst youth through training, mentoring and development programs.


Trevis is the 2nd person from the Federation to receive this prestigious award, Javon Liburd was the first.

During a class reunion in 1990, the graduating class of 1973 gave birth to a noble idea which would lead towards creating better opportunities for students of their alma mater. 

The scholarship was called ROC-90  (Reunion Organizing  Committee of 1990) and has been headed by Victor Williams.

Our Misson

 This scholarship will always provide a catalyst towards providing our leaders of tomorrow  with more positive options from which they will draw inspirations and take advantage of any and every opportunity that they will come across.

Who We Are

ROC-90 values are rooted deeply in the holistic development of individuals, leading to a well-rounded scholar who is not only academically competent, but also one that that can thrive in various social, professional & cultural environments. 

BHS ROC-90 St. Kitts

Javon is a 2015 Queen’s Young Leader from St Kitts and Nevis and winner for the Americas of the 2016 Leading Change Journalism Bursary.


He is also the founder of J3H, a non-profit that rewards outstanding students from village schools, and a member of the St Kitts National Youth Parliament.

He says, “It is important to note that even though the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, we are currently being led by the youths of yesterday, the leaders of today.”


The Queen’s Young Leader Award recognizes and celebrates exceptional persons aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth, who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives.

- Two students have been honoured by HM Queen Elizabeth II as Commonwealth Young Leaders


- One student recently was the recepient of the 2016 President Obama’s Young Leaders of The Americas Initiative,The Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) builds linkages between young leaders across the hemisphere. 


- The students of ROC-90 are State Scholars, State Scholar Runners-up, Medical Doctors, Accountants, Computer Programmers, Travel Consultants, Forestry Engineers, Financiers, Journalists, Teachers, Graphic Designers and the list goes on.


- One of our students (Trevoncia Stanley) recently won a scholarship and in September of this year, started a seven-year university course to become a medical doctor.
